Ohh fucking hell. I have always and will always (it seems) hate the McCourts. I think he should go back to Boston and his parking lots and leave my baseball team alone.
Edie Brickell “Circle”
So, I have had this song stuck in my head for a few days and well, I am kind of okay with it.
Our landlord bought us a heater that looks like a fireplace! It came with a bunch of brochures and information about it, claiming that it is handcrafted in Ohio by skilled Amish carpenters…
Oh man, awesome, my parents have one of those and it’s the best thing ever. I am totes coming to visit you when I am in LB.
Here’s some stuffed portobello mushrooms I made the other night, they were really really good. I usually judge the yum factor of my dinners by the “mmmm” noises Ben makes while eating and he made lots of them. Also, it’s a simple-ish meal to make that is filling and not bad for you. I served mine alongside a spring mix salad. Click here for some taste spotting recipes…but my recipe for 2:
Remove (2) turkey sausage from casings, split up into little pieces and cook in a bit of olive oil ‘til browned. In another bowl combine chopped up spinach with s&p, parsley and whatever spices and other veggies you may want. When the sausage is almost done paint the shrooms with some olive oil (I used some balsamic vinegar also) and cook them for a couple minutes each side on a grill pan. Add the spinach mix in with the sausage and cook for a few more minutes. Stuff sausage/spinach mix in each mushroom and top with some tomato sauce, a slice of tomato and some mozzarella cheese. Bake in the oven for a few minutes at around 300. Serve and listen for the mmmmm’s.
Maru: he’s a talker!
Visited the Tribeca laboratory of the Neistat Brothers today. They’re up to some really amazing stuff, including one of the most innovative television shows I’ve seen in a while (coming shortly to HBO).
Sweet, they are directors where I work, also nice dudes.
